Confidently Co-Regulating
Children must be regulated before we can expect their attention and engagement for building communication skills. Children aren't born with regulation skills. In order to learn self-regulation, children need trusted adults to practice co-regulation. In this course, you'll learn the basics of regulation and how to support dysregulated toddlers and preschoolers in early language therapy. We will outline strategies for co-regulation and teach you how to select individualized supports for sensory processing and arousal.
