Parent coaching is one of the most effective ways to maximize child progress and strengthen family engagement in early intervention. By equipping caregivers with practical strategies they can use during everyday routines, therapy extends far beyond the session, creating more opportunities for learning, connection, and growth.
In this course, you’ll learn the five essential elements of parent coaching and gain a clear, evidence-based framework you can apply immediately in your work.
We’ll also explore culturally responsive practices that ensure families feel respected, valued, and supported throughout the process.
You’ll leave with practical tools to:
- Strengthen family partnerships
- Increase caregiver confidence
- Promote communication and developmental outcomes
This course for SLPs and early interventionists will give you the skills to make your work more effective, efficient, and impactful, while empowering families to turn everyday moments into opportunities for connection and growth.
